Check out Kassandra’s Sweet 15 photos!! We had such a blast experimenting with this new location and she was sooo amazed when she saw the photos! I’ve been EAGERLY awaiting sharing these photos with everyone for the past TWO MONTHS!! We had to keep these photos a surprise until the party!

A couple of weeks ago I was so excited and honored that Kenzie Shores Photography asked me to come out and shoot a wedding with them! They are awesome wedding photographers in the industry and I was so happy and appreciative to spend the day with Kenzie & John and get to shoot some cool stuff! Thank you again Kenzie & John for a GREAT day!! Here are a few of my favorite images I took below!

Rachel and Ron came all the way from the West with their four children to Florida to renew their vows with each other after spending 10 years with one another! With four children and their families together they said their vows again for the second time on Weddings on the Water in St. Petersburg! Unfortunately, the weather was not the best on this particular day…In fact, it rained all day…but that didn’t stop them from having a great time! Their children were so unbelievably excited and by the time the wedding was over they all worked up their appetite for Cha Cha Coconuts! YUUUM!

So this is a photo I came across this morning from the late 70’s. Maybe even 1980. This was my mom when she got married…I couldn’t help but notice the oldness of the photo and the reddish tones so I scanned it to my computer and with the latest photography software that I use I was able to bring it back to life and restore it as if someone had just taken it yesterday!

I am going to start offering photo restoration in my business this year. I feel that it is important because I am really trying to promote the value of preserving your memories while you have them. Apart of preserving your memories also entails preserving your past memories too…I think ALLL of us have old photographs like this one that might need some work…. Why is photo restoration important? It is important because yes, even though your photos or albums you possess or have inherited maybe even from generation to generation are getting older, you still want those treasures to last a lifetime! Once the process of photo restoring is over with, you will get back your old photos and albums of course but you will take with you a whole new treasure that you can put out on display and treasure for 100 more years!

Also, it is important that if you have ANY old photographs to consider getting them digitally put to DVD….Accidents, unfortunately happen! God forbid there is a fire or some natural disaster that wipes away your home at least you can have a DVD of your treasured photos to put away in a bond box or special fire proof or waterproof place. I too will always have ALL digital copies so if something also happened, a DVD would remain in your client folder!

For the first time in Dillard’s history,  real life couple Owen and Kim said their vows inside Dillard’s at the Wiregrass Mall in Florida during the first annual Couture bridal show!  I want to send out a special thank you to Barbara Cruz  from NY Style and Events and all of the amazing, talented vendors in the Couture wedding guild (http://www.mycouturepro.com) for making Kim and Owen’s wedding so special! Every-time I hear this scripture being read at weddings, my eyes fill up with tears! As this scripture was being read by the minister to Katie and Josh, they stood there, hand and hand completely unbreakable.. as ONE. Their faces were filled with imense love and happiness for each other. My eyes were blurred as I looked through the lens from the tears falling from my face.

Simply Eloquent was the best words to describe this wedding! The simplicity of their marriage and those  close to them that they shared it with, not to mention how calm, cool and collective everyone was the entire afternoon..was really telling… Even the wedding planner was like..”OH MY GOSH” “YOUR THE BESTEST BRIDE EVER!”

Katie and Josh: Your wedding was amazing! So beautiful and so simplistic..just the way you hoped it would be! Your wedding was everything that it should be about: Love, Joy and Contentment! Thank you for having me share such a special day with you and your family. I hope that you have a blast at your reception back home and on your honeymoon!!

This is  a new sneak peak of Scot & Lisa’s beautiful beach wedding!! There are SOO many  photos to still go through! These are a few of my favorites so far I wanted to share with you. I will be adding more photos of the wedding on here throughout the day so be sure to check back! The flowers were all done by For Better, For Less Flowers. I got to go and visit with the before the holidays and looked at all of their samples of floral arrangements for weddings that they design and they are BREATHTAKING! Just thought I would let any of you brides out their know where you can find great flowers if you are still on the hunt!

Scot & Kay had an amazing wedding on the weekend of 10.24.08. Their ceremony took place on Friday at Honeymoon Island with an amazing dinner following at their beautiful home with all of their close friends and family.

Saturday evening they invited back all of their friends and family to a private party at Blur in Dunedin, Florida; where they partied it up!! The band “The Black Honkey’s” were the entertainers of the night and boy did they put on a killer show!! They were soooo amazing that people from the outside streets were trying to get into the club! The best part of the night was when both Scot & Kay got onto stage and sang with the band!!
